Does anyone know what is causing this error message?? These are both Solaris boxes and they know about each other. I can even rsh back and forth and yet I am getting permissioned denied.

torbak02:/nsr 1 retry attempted
* torbak02:/nsr Host mlctorram2 cannot request command execution
* torbak02:/nsr 02/14/03 09:12:56 nsrexec: Host mlctorram2 cannot request command execution
* torbak02:/nsr Permission denied

Any idea?? I would really appreciate it.

On the client, do you have /nsr/res/servers file populated with the name of your backup server?

Make sure it has the short, fully qualified domain name, and even the ip address, each on a separate line. Then restart NetWorker on the client.

That worked!!

Thank you very much.
