Host Authentication Error

I have a Win2k Exh2K Client and have installed Networker 6.1.1 with Exchange Module 3.01. The host backup server runs on NT4. When I fire the Networker Admin on the client, the error message (authentication Error) comes up and does not connect me to the host server.

What could be the problem? Please help.

Check to see if you can ping the server's FQDN - also try adding it to to the hosts file - sometimes that works too.

Also if your using DNS make sure reverse look up is working, try connecting from the DOS Prompt with
winworkr -s ______server name_____

I also have a similar problem. My DNS seems fine. I can manually iniate backups from the client, but automatic backups fail with this error.

Have you specified your Exchange service account in Networker client-->Remote-->backup command?
