We are in the process of migrating to 1200 series IP phones for the entire campus. We have a few dozen locations that have digital alerter boards, for horns in the loud areas. I have been told that I can either leave the digital set in place, not happy with this option, or migrate to IP and add an analog port and install the horn to the analog port. Does anyone know of any solution with horns for the 1200 series phone.

Why are you not happy with a digital set left in place? They will always work even if your LAN is down. The analog port idea will probably require some sort of device to alert the horn to go off.

It's a phone system, NOT a clock!

It is have to be over IP so you can install a IP/Analog Adapter H323 or SIP.
For example Innaphone IP 21/2.
They have 1 or two analog Ports avaible

No it does not need to be IP. But I horn must ring when the IP phone rings. As I understand this if the phone is IP I can not have a SIP device ring using the same DN.
