group1
a1
a2

b1
b2
to print like below
group1 group2
a1 b1

Hi
As in set up columns (Page Setup) and column breaks or something more complex?

I would set up a multiple column report based on the groups only and set it to display across then down. Create a subreport that includes the group and detail fields. Add the subreport to your main report and set the link master/child fields to the group field.

Hello dhookom,
Thanks for your reply. How do I set up multiple column report based on the groups only?
Thanks

You haven't shared your table structure so I can only suggest you create a query that has only one record per Group field. Use this as the record source for your report. Then set the layout of your report to two (or more) columns.

& How do you setup a report that shows all the records filling the page as in:

1 2 3 4 toppage
5 6 7 8
...

Like in you would do with cells in excell or something like that.

ailyn,
Is this question related to this thread? Rather than piggy-backing in an existing thread, you should consider posting a new question. When you do, please try to provide enough information that someone can help you.
