horiziontal line effect how to?

I would like to be able to re-create the horiziontal line effect found on the following website

The white/grey lines embedded in the blue at the top of the page.

any suggestions on how to go about this

Hi,

This is very easy to do. Make a new document size height="2" pixels and width whatever you need.

Select your 2 colors then use a gadient from left to right, then select the pencil tool set it to 1 pixel and draw one line. Then select all EDIT|DEFINE PATTERN. Then make another new document sie width whatever and height to your need height, then goto EDIT|FILL and choose pattern and find your pattern.
