I am reletively new to UNIX as my querie will surely demonsrate!
I am trying to determine the exact size of a directory. I am aware of the df command but can not seem to get the size of the dir only the file system that it is mounted upon.
What is the best way of getting the infomation about sizes of individual dir's?
Thank you

hi...
try using the du command to get the current disk usage of your directories. Use 'man du' to get more info on how to best use this command. Brantley Fry
