We had to rebuild our Symposium today, and I would like to have this up as soon as possible, but for the life of me I can't remember how I would go about getting the Master Script to validate. And I know it's simple, but I am missing it.

I know it's a symposium Q in CS land, but thought someone might be up and about out in the world...

Any help would be great. Appreciate all of the helpful stuff, ladies and gents.

run the call routing and call treatment wizard, once those are completed, the scripts should be compiling and validating. with secc there's no access to script or modifying script unless you access the advance function, and that isn't necessary.

thanks for your replies this morning, gentlemen. I really appreciate it.

John, when I look at the scripts in advanced functions, it does not give me a lot of options. Some of my scripts are active, some validated, and some say edited. I can't find where it gives me a chance to validate it.

yyrkroon, that's what i remember from the last time i put a new cdn and skillset into place; that all i needed was to run the routing wizard. it's telling me that the master script validation failed.

unless i am missing something, it should only care that the call flows without a trap and that a cdn is assigned to a treatment and a skillset is assigned to it, right?

verify your cdn are acquire in the secc and all agents are assigned to the default skillset and make sure the server and client are patched, especially the cores client.

Ok, so last night our vendor was able to get it up and running through top level support. There was an issue with cdn and skillset names using "reserved" names by the system. by using those, it corrupted part of the system database, which is why nothing was activating. If I would have been doing this with forethought, I may have named it differently. That is what they told me was the problem.

At least it is working now. thank you John and yyrkroon for your replies. I appreciate the attempt to help me out.
