I'm hooking up a 3320 array to a V440, the V440 has two scsi HBA's which are connected to the two scsi channels on the array.

The drives in the array have been striped and mirrored so they present one LUN to the 440.

How do I configure the 440 so it uses one scsi bus primarily and then switches to the other in case of failure ?

Or alternatively use both and switch to one in case of failure of one of the scsi buses.

Hi Dandan123,

You may need to invest or certainly look at vxdmp (veritas dynamic multi-pathing) as I don't believe Sun can deal with this.
I've not had an awful lot of experience with this so apologies for the fluffy answer.
