Hello all,
over the past few days, I have been struggling getting a monitor (regular display - not Sun) up to a V120. Can anyone tell me the connections and wires that I would need?

You connect a terminal or laptop through the LOM RJ-45 serial port at 9600 bps. Cables come bundled with the server. Personally, I use my laptop to connect to LOM ports on initial setup (using FreeBSD and cu vs. Windows Hypterterm) and then network my LOM and enter them in internal DNS.

very cool - I will give it a shot tomorrow...
chances are slim that we still have the orig cables. cross-over cable or normail cat-5?

Did you add the video card or did ship with it already? I am only asking, because we added our video cards afterwards and had to change the EEPROM.

From Shell:
eeprom output-device=screen
eeprom input-device=keyboard

From OK prompt:
setenv output-device screen
setenv input-device keyboard
