Hook 2 setop boxes 2 one tv can I split sat signal

I have a 36" sat with motor & invacom dual lnb cir port 1 lin port 2 going into di sec switch then into motor after motor can I use a splitter to go into 2 setop boxes then into 1 tv and still be able to control motor with either box it is just a preference to use either box because of some features on one box but not on the other I only use one box at a time thank you for your advice
