Having a bit of bother with a home Wireless connection.

I am not particularly in the knmow with wireless stuff so I could use some help.

The setup:

Wireless Router, connected to a phone line (ADSL)

Then the PC connects to the router to get online.

The problem is that it is a multi user pc, and only administrators can actually get onto the net becuse of apparent permission problems, which cannot be changed, its either Admin, or Limited.

So how will I overcome this?

Its BT Yahoo Wireless Broadband, with a Voyager 2000 Router with built built in DSL modem.

TIA

OK I can narrow it down.

If i turn off the encryption, it works fine, so its obviously a user authentication issue.

Do I need to set up some sort of access list or something?

windows xp (home) or pro???
have you allowed the use of internet to all in the connection???

XP Home.

I'm not sure what you mean in the second part, there is an option to share the key, but wouldnt that negate the point of encryption? Or will it just be for that PC?

Ok xp(home)

before you go off on the encription route...
when you made your internet connection it also asks you if you wish to share the internet connection with other users of the pc...did you allow this to happen or did you select u only...????

From what your telling me ..i think it is a windows settings problem and not a wirless issue..do you see the wirless connection in all users when they are logged on??
try looking at internet settings auto detect when in each user..
