home webserver using DynDNS

hi,
I'm trying to host my own site but having a hard time. here is what I have.
- dynamic IP
- win XP
- Apache server
- I already have dyndns account
- I have DSL with LinkSyst router (Modle: BEFW11S4)
- I opened port 80 for my router and forward it to my local IP
- I opened my network adapter's firewall on port 80

- I CAN remote desktop my PC but can't get to my webserver
- when I point to my dnsdyn domain name I don't get any errors just can't reach the destination

Please help.

Are you testing within your little network space or on the general Internet? That would be a problem because the port translation would not work.

If testing from the outside, at least my Linksys has firewall logs to see if the packets appear or if they are blocked.

my site DOES appear within my internal network but not from outside. I looked at my LinkSys log and I don't see any requests on port 80(which is my
my log screen gives me options to change the "Logviewer IP Address" which is set to 192.168.1.255. I'n not sure if that matters but my Linksys IP ends with .1.1 and my web server is .1.100
