Hope you can help......

I have XP Pro on my office, and home PC's and both have broadband connections(dsl).

What is the best way to connect to my office PC from home? Is the configuration complicated?

Thanks in advance.

Probably the easiest way is to use Remote Desktop. At the office pc, right click on My Computer, select Properties, Remote tab, check Allow users to connect.....

The user account that you are using to connect must have a password & the any routers or firewalls being used at the office must allow or forward port 3389.

At home, Start, All programs, Accessories, Communications, Remote Desktop connection. Hit the Options button & fill in the necessary info. Note that computer name will be the IP address of your work computer (hopefully it's not a dynamic IP address).
