I'm trying to set up an Ethernet connection between my home PC and my Laptop. I know I need NICs and cables, do I need a hub also? It is just to connect two computers so I don't think I do but I may be wrong. Also what software do I need to be able to share files and play games like on a LAN? (don't need to share internet connection)
