Home page keeps changing 1

I have a problem whereby the default homepage (which is set to blank) keeps changing to 'bestsearches.cc' every other day or so. I've used apps like adaware, 12 ghosts, and hijack this, all of which find suspect data miners and HKCU values. Even though I delete these, the page still keeps changing!
Anyone have any other suggestions to stop this happening?

Download and run Spybot Search & Destroy.

Are you running XP?
If so, you must disable system restore before running any of the cleaners you've mentioned. This prevents repopulation of malwares on reboot.

Thanks carrr, the client in question had an enforced policy that didnt allow turning off system restore. Once this was fixed the problem was finally resolved.
