Home page doesn't hold in Chrome

I have started to use Chrome more because of the idiotic stuff that shows up at the bottom of IE.

I set the home page to Google.com, but every time I open Chrome, it goes to Bing. Bing takes for ever to load!

When I click the home icon, it does go to Google, but I am trying to figure out how to get rid of Bing all together.

Had to really fiddle but got Chrome to open with Google.com as the home page.
