Guys....

Hope someone can help me, quite new to the phsical networking of machines....

I have just moved into a new appartment which has built in cat5e cabling....1 have 8 dual face ports and these thrunk through to a cupboard in my hallway....

In this cupboard is the main telephone connection for the appartment AND a patch cabinet which has three panels one labelled "voice host" one "telephones" and one "data"...

The main telephone connections seems to be going into port 1 on the "voicehost" panel...I wish to:

On each dual face plate have 1 for voice, 1 for data...

How do I need to config patch cabinet for this? I know this sounds a bit vauge - any help really appreciated, all CAT5e is fully patched and trunks back to cupboard - Imagine it is not as easy as just plugging into front of panel though....is it?

Many many thanks in anticipation.
