Just a quick question for those who have passed the CCNA..

I have 2 2501's, a uBR924, and a 1924-EN for my home lab. What I need to know is if this will provide enough hands on to pass the CCNA. Should I get a third router (ie. a 2524, 2521 or such)? Money is a real consideration at the moment.

What will I be missing hands on with the equipment that I have? I really hate sims and prefer digging in and playing around to learn (I like learning to troubleshoot, not just having to know the "right answer").

Thank you in advance,

Rob

You may want to consider a third router but if money is tight than don't worry about it. When you move into CCNP however, you may want to consider a third router and possibly Boson's router sim so you can test different lines and some other features you could not possibly afford ;-) You have everything that you would need to pass the test. Good luck on your studies!

holyrabbitear,

Are you using the UBR924 for a cheap VOIP simulation?

get a 2524/25 with two DB-60 and a BRI-U, will allow you
to do almost all of the CCNP BSCI stuff, assuming you have
IOS 12.1 or better (IMO).
