Hello,i maintain a win2000 server network with 18 users.

no expert here so here is ?. at the server the home folder has all users listed and when i looked in there at there my documents folder there are no files that are recent ?? when someone saves a document should it go to the home folders on server..
Thanks Robert...

short and sweet is no.
Every machine from 2000 has an all users profile, which basically means all users who log onto that machine will have access to those shortcuts/programs installed for all users etc.
If you want there mydocs on the server look into folder redirection and roaming profiles.
Usually you will have a share on the server that is mapped to the users for them to save there files to.
