Hey All,

I have a server 2003 network with about 90 XP machines running group policy and were just now starting to role out Windows 7 machines I'm having a heck of a time trying to get these windows 7 machines to pull a users documents from their home drive. It keeps telling me i have to index it for it to be able to be used in their documents. Here are my question why do i have to index their home folder if they should never disconnected from the server (desktop's only laptops i understand) and if their home drive is mounted already? Is it possible to link their home drive to the documents without indexing them? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
