Environment: Win2K domain, sp4
Workstations: XP SP2

We have all users mapping their Home Folder to L:\ based on the settings stored in Windows 2000's profile.

Recently, I went into the domain group policy and added a batch file to delete some temp files from the users workstations from within the logon scripts area.

(User Configuration | Windows Settings | Scripts | Logon)

That batch has since been removed, but now I am having staff map their L: or home folders at the root of the shared folder instead of at their own folder on a sporatic basis.

Can anyone help point me in the direction as to why modifying the logon script in the group policy might have impacted the home share path?
