Hi all,
I want to use OpenLDAP on my Mac OS X server to authenticate access to OpenSUSE.
I have configured what I believe to be the correct information in LDAP Client in the Yast Control Centre.
I am able to log in fine with any user configured on the LDAP server but I am unable to mount their home directory under /home, it mounts it to:
/Network/Servers/hostname.domain/Volumes/Data/Home/<username>
Now is where it confuses me, this appears to be stored fully on the OpenSuse server itself, but for some reason puts it where it does. Perhaps it is pulling down information from the Mac OS X server which stores the home directory in /Volums/Data/Home/<username>
How would I go about simply getting it to store the users Home contents in /home.. I have the following boxes ticked in LDAP Client:
Start Automounter
Create Home Directory on Login
Home Directories on this Machine
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
