Hi, can anyone help please? I have a windows NT 4 network which has Users Home directories on the NT 4 server. In attempting to archive I keep getting Access denied on some folders. I have tried several methods.
1. attrib *.* +A /s and then doing an xcopy.
2.Using Direct CD and copying and pasting to the CDRW drive
3.Using CD Creator and adding to the layout and creating the CD.
Diskcopy does not work on network drives. taking ownership and adding permissions to the domain administrator seems to work but not on all home durectory folders.
The method using CD creator seems to work, but on examining the individual folders, files are absent. Can somebody out there pleasehelp, I am going barmy.
Thanks in advance
