I've recently installed a file server and I'd like to move all the user's home directories to the new file server. Does anyone know a way that I can update multiple users in user manager to specify the new path for the home directories and profile path? Also would I run into problems with permissions of the old home directories?

Thanks In Advance

Sandy

Go to the new server and create a folder called Users. Make it a share point available to domain users.

Then go to User Manager and highlight the relevant users. File Properties will bring up details for ALL of them. Click profile and in the home directory type \\servername\users\%username% and click OK.

This will create directories of their names and set the permissions so that only that user can get in...
