I am looking at setting up a network in my home, and would like to use some of the Cisco skills I have to set up VLAN's for certain areas.

What's the best Cisco router I can get (that's small and quiet) that still supports VLANS?

Thanks

something in the 800 series would probably work for you.

if you have more than 1 method of connection (ie wired AND wireless) dont get the 851w.
87x will be a good choice,

We must go always forward, not backward
always up, not down and always twirling twirling towards infinity.
