hey guys,

just had a question about voicemail and the calander schedule.

can you set up a schedule in VM pro to play holiday greetings on the day of the holiday without having to record or rerecord the main greeting? i guess what im trying to say is....can you set up the calander in VM pro...set up all of the holiday greetings and set it up to play when the holiday comes around without having to do anything?

thanks!

HAHA! Victory is mine!

Although I'm sad that Amriddle used the .co.uk version of ipofficehelp domain and not the ipofficeassistance domain since I use only ipofficehelp.com for "work" as it doesn't have the banner at the bottom yet I like the domain name better.

Hmmm...Maybe it's time to shop for a new name.

@akb1111,

The star goes to Kyle, he has a great site (better then amriddle01 with his stupid poll)

Careful what you ask for. Maybe if I send him the link to the PowerPoint viewer he will?

Yippie! I know what you mean though amriddle. I let 34 domains with "IPOffice" in them expire this past year as I could't think of any valid reason to keep them.

Hello!

I was searching for answers to this question myself, and I'm thankful someone managed to post this question a week after someone else asked it!

Kyle, thank you very much for the script! I'm looking forward to using it. I have one question before I try to implement it, though: it sounds like it's currently programmed to account for US federal holidays. However, I work abroad, and as such we need to change some of those holidays (removal of, for example, President's and MLK day; addition of holidays like Whitsunday and Easter Monday).

Given a mook like me without any experience modifying IP Office outside of the program itself, and very little in the way of actual programming, is it easy to tweak the mod to better suit our needs?

Sure. Just go to the "Condition Editor" in Voicemail Pro and delete the dates that are not used and create the new ones with the proper names instead (just make sure you don't add more than you delete). If damn VMP would let you rename these this would be a lot easier.

Then go to the checkHours module and rename the action in question and on the Specific tab select the appropriate newly created test condition from above.
