Hi all,

I was wondering how the scheduled holiday greetings work with the BCM400 on 4.0.

What phone extensions, call center skillsets, etc will be affected by having a scheduled holiday greeting?

Thanks in advance!

ALL Greeting Tables are affected.
If your system is fronted by a ccr tree then the holiday greeting will take over on the designated day.

As you can see when you add a holiday you can only assign a greeting and a ccr tree.
you cant specify which TABLE its to use.
therefore ALL TABLES are affected.

If the call center is answered directly the it should not affect it.
If its answered by a CCR tree first then the Holiday will affect it.

So if I have an AutoAttendant on a line that goes to a Skillset and that skillset uses a Caller Input Rule table... no holiday message?

Dont Know..Never used it.

I assume that you are referring to the CLID routing table.

Try it with a test number and see.
But reading the docs i think you could be right.

if you simply want to anounce Seasons Greeting or Happy Holiday it maybe easier to simply insert a greeting at the front of your CCR Tree as many do for the "Good morning" Good afternoon" and so on, this way you do not have to change your CCR Tree, or simply disable the CCR Tree and re-record the intro and then re-activated the Tree
