Really quick question for which I appologise in advance, but I am wasting my life here.

Where the hell is the holdmusic.wav file located?

Thanks

In C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Manager

But only if you made one and put it there!! It's not there by default.

Put a wave file in C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Manager
Name it Holdmusic.wav
Open the manager/tftp server and there you go.

Is has to be 30 seconds long and 16 bit, 8khz, Mono, (PCM)

Greetzzz...Bas

My Fault.

I know where it needs to go, but where do I get it from.

I know Avaya had one years ago on a cd. But that was the last time I used it.

Anyone know where I can get the file holdmusic.wav?

Thanks everyone

I think it's clear that he has to put the file in

C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Manager

LOL

You need to make one using the format stated above, don't get caught out by copyright/broadcasting laws though.

actually amriddle01, its a 3.2 sys, so that was the file I needed.

Thanks for that liquidshokk. That was exactly what I needed.

is that actually true?

Ive had systems lose their beep beep when the system has been rebooted because the file isnt where it should be or manager wasnt opened....

anyway, if you lose the beep its there for the future....

Sure that's the case on 4+, which is when I started on the old (I)t's (P)ants Office. Glad to be wrong on this occasion, I now know for future star gaining reference. lol
