Hold reminder ringback

Is there any way to modify the parameters of the hold reminder? By default it simply rings continuously once the reminder timer has been met. Is there any way to change the hold reminder to only beep twice or something more typical and/or less annoying? This has been bothering me for a long time but it's so low on my list of priorities that I haven't bothered to make a post. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

It's annoying for a reason, to stop you keeping your callers on hold for any longer than necesary, the point of a modern phone system is to get calls answered as quickly and as efficiantly as possible not to make holding people pleasurable But in answer to your question I don't think you can

you could always set the hold timeout to 99999
