Customer wants to pick calls on hold off the console from a different phone. I gave feature number 16 a code of *#. I also allowed option 225 in COS. I assumed at that point they just dial *#1,2 or 3. It's not working. What am I missing?? Thanks in advance.
Assuming the console is a SC1000 and is the only one programmed
*#001 should get you hold slot 1
If you are using a Sub Attendant the console number will start at 13 or 16 depending on your SW version.
There is a trick I know to use speed call to shorten the digits dialed but you have to avoid conflicts. If you do not use speedcalls at all AND the feature code is a single digit (Feature 24) then you can shorten to only 2 digits. 3 digits can be more easily managed and flexible. (Still better than 5)
