We have an external USB Audio Device feeding our Call Managers with a CD PLayers Audio Output.

This works fine and we can put calls on hold and we get the music.

The problem is, alot of the time we are getting crackling and no music. Other times we get no sound at all.

When this occurs we try another phone at the same time and will get the audio we expect.

Any ideas if this is call manager or the audio device (it is a soundblaster Live!)

THANKS

is this configuration supported by cisco?

if not you can expect to have problems.

TAC has told me not to plug usb jump drives in. theyre not supported.

Well if its not supported then the company that supplied our phone system are to blame as they did it.

Maybe though you are confused as to our setup, so I'll explain with a diagram in case and for any new pontential repliers!
