Hold Button

I am running aloha 5.026 and it was set up to send all orders. Now, for various reasons we want to have a hold button, so we can put the order into the computer and highlite selected items to be held and sent later. Is this an easy set up? Can someone tell me the steps to do. Thanks for any help.

Sure, this is quite an easy process. I will email later with the instructions on how to set up.

I am running Aloha 6.0.7 so the process may be a little different.

In store settings, order entry, and options, there is spot that says disable hold, just uncheck it and the button will appear at the bottom of the pos screen. Or in the general area for 5.0.

If that doesnt work, you may have accidentally deleted the hold button from the ordering screen.

If that is the case, go to Maintenance, System, Floor Plan, Panel Editor. Select Open Panel, Buttons or something like that, then Ordering Screen and add a new Hold button to the screen.

Hi, I have this same problem. I would like to add the hold button, but can't find the option to add it. I'm using quickservice so I don't know if that might have somethig to do with it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
