First off this was not the design of the engineer or architect.

I have an extension with 8 call appearance bridged to 24 extensions with 6-8 call appearances each.
When you call into the number and I answer if I can't help them then I put them on hold and tell John he has a call on line 2. John tried to pick up the call and neither side can hear the other.
The kicker is if you call the number internally it works fine. If you call from offnet it fails every time.
This is the only place this is happening on the county phones.

Long term we are going to change them to agents.

Maybe it would be easier to park the call on someone's extension or set up park zones.

I agree park zones are the way to go
