Good Afternoon:

I need help allowing more than 2 people to be the in the db at the same time, and view the same reports and queries.

Please offer any suggestions.

Thanks

See your Network supervisor and place the db in a folder with only read rights for every one except yourself

Hope this helps

This is not a problem. Place the database in a location that both (or more) users have R/W access to. Make sure their shortcuts to the database file do NOT open it in "exclusive" mode. And you're set to go.

This does not necessarily preclude you doing some preparation or planning for possible data write conflicts. But if all your users will be doing is running queries and viewing reports, you'll probably be OK. The one thing to watch is if a query does a make-table - if two users try to run the query at the same time, Access is liable to get a migraine...
