Hi everyone,

I was wondering:

On our Systems we Keep the definitions of unused LPARs that have no more disks attached to it and have been shut down so that we don't have to perform all the creation steps again if we Need a new LPAR somewhere in the future.

Now the Problem is, that the "lspartition -dplar" command remembers the inactive LPARs Settings, especially the IP address.

Is there any way to clean this list up and force the HMC to reread ALL of the Information again ?

It would be great to get rid of the whole entry because and I think a reread shouldn't find anything as there's no functioning RMC Connection available to an inactive LPAR ?!

Regards,
Thomas
