Hi All,

A managed system's port HMC1 (19.9.9.2) is connected to a HMC (10.9.9.1) - both addresses belongs to internal, mgmt network - HMC DHCP network 10.9.9/24). Between HMC and a partition (LPAR) there is a firewall which observes tries of communication from AIX's routable IP address to a internal not-routable HMC network/VLAN on port 567/udp and tcp.

HMC has also the other interface (routable) which is in the same VLAN as AIX's IP address. I am wondering why connection tries from AIXs are not going to that routable address of HMC and goes to that not routable which is not acceptable by firewall?

thx,
rm,.
