HMC: lspartition -dlpar showing wrong ip address for lpar

Can someone tell me how the HMC retrieves the info for the lspartition -lpar command? Of all the lpar's it reports on, one of them that shows Active:<0> reports the wrong ip address. It reports the ip address of the lpar when it was originally setup with (for use with NIM) but then it was moved into a DMZ. I have port 657 open from the HMC to the DMZ server but not ping. Is that necessary?

if you change an lpar ip address you will need to run recfgct on the lpar to correct the rsct configuration used for HMC communication.
