HMC connections

Hi, I've got some problems with an HMC connecting to p510s and p570s. After changing the frame passwords (authentication failed) the Operator Panel Value changed to "All connections in use 0403-0001-00000012"

Does anyone know why it's doing this for all the servers?

How did you perform the password change? Using ASM és the HMC itself? What version of HMC LIC do you run?

I right clicked on the frame connection and changed the password. The LIC? is 4.4.0 I think.

Try to find out is the hmc card on the server is bad or not. You can regenerate the password file. Open the shell command from hmc console, try to type:

mksysconn -o auto

We are talking about 7 servers. I don't think the cards are bad. I will try the command on Monday. Thanks

Ok, this is a known issue that is mentioned in PTF MH00222, "Dual HMC locking problem causing the FSP's to go to the no connection state
