.HLP files don't display/load 1

We are running Metaframe XP FR2 on W2K and have a number of programs where the Help files won't display. Most noticeably MS Office 2002 and GroupWise 6.0. When your in Word and select help the frame opens but nothing displays inside. When selecting Help in GroupWise it pauses for a moment and then returns control to the user and nothing different is displayed. The .hlp files are present and we have even re-installed the applications to no avail. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Are these help files .chm files? If so they are HTML help files and use "C:\WINNT\hh.exe" %1 to open. When you do a start --> run "C:\WINNT\hh.exe" %1 does it open help with the page cannot be displayed?
