How does the HL10 (which physically lifts the handset when ctivated) have any affect on answering a call ringing at the 4424LD+?
I am considering adding an HL10 handset lifter to our CS50 wireless headset that is connected to a 4424LD+. The HL10 is supposed to allow the user to answer a call to his/her phone from remote. What I don't understand is how this works on the 4424LD+. When a headset is being used, the 4424LD+ operator pushes her Headset toggle button so that sound comes out her headset and not the handset. Once in headset mode, the system doesn't care if this handset is on-hook or off-hook. In fact, when in headset mode, all calls have to be disconnected using the headset hangup button I have programmed. So how does the HL10 (which physically lifts the handset when activated) have any affect on answering a call ringing at the 4424LD+ when in headset mode?
