Hitachi sotrage - problem using

Hello,

there are no reservations on that disks but I can't use dlmfdrv devices for a VG - it looks that pvid can't be created!!! Even removing all Hitachi disk and recreating doesn't help (cfgmgr run without error and all hdisks and dlmfdrv disks are created)

All paths are online.

I tried to use 'dlmmkvg' but it also failed....

weird....

everything works fine after I uninstalled Hitachi.aix.support.rte !!!

maybe it is no more needed in AIX 5.3 (on AIX 5.2 I have it installed - these are ODM definitions for Hitachi disks)

I lost several hours to find out that stupid "feature"...
