Hit counter not working

Hi

I seem to be getting the red cross when accessing one of my pages where the hit counter should be (ie it's not loading). I've tried a couple of different number types, without any success - any ideas what could be wrong?

Are you publishing the web using the FP publish, or are you using FTP? Can you post the URL of the page?

Thanks for your interest in my problem.

I'm using FP Publish. The page/s are within frames (the 'main' frame). I seem to be able to get the counter to work, until I specify that I want to reset the count to over 1000 (this is due to a redesign of the website - I want to continue counting the hits from per-upgrade). I have tried using the dialog box to set the initial count, and modifying the .cnt file on the server - both result in failure.

Still haven't got this sorted, but it does appear that if the "main" frame is located in the root of the website structure, the hit counter works. I haven't yet seen an instance where the main frame is within a directory and the hit counter works.

Any ideas?
