We have a weird problem. We have a Citrix PS5 which users connect to via Secure Gateway using the web-interface. We have a cert registered and seemingly everything is set up fine.

However, sometimes users cannot connect to the web interface. They will use a booked marked URL using HTTPS in either Internet Explorer or Firefox and get the typical "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" type error. Other times it will connect fine. Sometimes just hitting refresh a few times cures the problem. A few people cannnot connect to the interface at all.

We thought at first it was a DNS issue and that the new domain/cert was not resolving for some ISPs. We assumed it would fix itself once the domain info had populated across the Internet. It is now a month ago since we registered everything and we still get the same issue.

I have tried using OpenDNS servers in place of our company's ISP DNS and for some users this appears to fix the problem. Unfortunately we then get them contacting us several days later telling us they can't connect.

Whenever this happens we check the SG and Citrix servers and they seem fine. So we are really stumped as to why this is occuring. As I said, sometimes just spaming refresh in the browser fixes the issue, sometimes it takes longer though. Once they do finally get the interface to come up, log in and operation of Citrix works perfectly.

Any one experience similar issues?
