My root user shell history truncated auto.
How to control that...

By truncatinging, I am assuming you mean not all of the commands you expect to be in the history file are there. The shell history only keeps a certain number of commands. As you execute more commands, the oldest ones are dropped out of the file.

You can increase the number of commands that are kept by adding a export HISTSIZE=xxx line to your .profile or your ENV file if you have one where xxx is the number of commands you want the file to retain.
