HIstory corrupts entries:

autocomplete has become a nightmare, as the history file insists on entering corrupt addresses. Removing the corrupted addresses doesn't work. They simply reappear.


so if I enter john@aol.com
auto complete does it as john@aol.co

Or "carmen" carmen@thing.com
is autocompleted as carmen" carmen@thing.com

Removing the corrputed entries from the history file has no effect. The reappear the next time it is opened.

Any thoughts?
