History Button missing

I cant seem to find the history button or how to add it to the menu, Any ideas.

How can I delete Opera browser history files?

Go to File -> Preferences -> History to clear history files and to set their limits.

I have had very weird things happen with Opera. Sometimes it gets so slow, i have to close it and go to (yuk) IE. But weirder yet: Sometimes the top section turns partially green, occasionally red. When I pass the mouse over it, some of the buttons return to normal. Then, the "home" button, when i push it, shows the desktop wallpaper underneath. i just deleted and reinstaled it, and so far, it's normal. Could this be a hack or exploit of some sort, or merely a glitch?
