I have User 1 with a few records and some history in the records. Using my Master login, I give User 2 access to User 1's history.

On the Goldmine server, when I login as User 2, I can see User 1's history AND open the info for editing or what not.

On the client machine, if I login as User 2, I can only view what's in User 1's history tab but I can't open any instances for editing or viewing detailed info. VERY STRANGE. Any ideas?

Hi,

Sounds like their using different users files. Do you have the EXEs loaded locally to the machine? If so make show the GM.INI has a SYSDIR= setting that points back to the network installation.

Regards,

Richard.

You were absolutely right. I copied the three "users" file from the Goldmine directory and sent it off to the employee having the problem and everything opens correctly now. This was driving me crazy. Thanks for all your help!
