I just removed access to a financial window (exhange rate entry) to all our user classes. Now, no user can use the Historical Lookup (Ctrl-H) when in Sales Transaction Entry (receive error that they do not have access to the form), yet I never removed access to it. When I review the activity tracking, it is saying mentions the gpsLookup window.

I cannot locate this window in order to give a user access to it and why would it all of a sudden be removed when I rolled down changes to a class with one financial window change?

Of course, nothing found on TK on Customersource.

What additional or third party product do you have installed which is adding the Ctrl-H option. You will probably have this under the Extras menu.

Have you tried using the Interactive Dialogs of Advanced Security to identify the window which is giving you problems. For v7.0 and v7.5 the interactive dialogs are active once Advanced Security has been initialised. For v8.0 you need to turn it on from the Advanced Security Options window, the option is "Allow Security Override Using The System Password".

Please note that rolling down a class using standard security will overwrite any user level security changes. This is not an issue with Advanced Security as it automatically rolls down only the actual changes you made to the class.
