Yes. There is a PROC PARETO in SAS, and if you go to SAS/Enterprise Guide, scan through the "Task List" (if it's not visible go to View > Task List. Pareto is down at the bottom. Control Charts and Histograms are also listed there.
Sorry no. Without the SAS component you can't use the procedure. The only alternative is to create it yourself from scratch using other SAS datasteps and procedures. I can't help you with that though as I have no idea what a Pareto chart actually is.
That's actually quite irritating. SAS/EG shows the procedures listed, but when you go to run them, it throws out an error that you don't have them. Nasty.
The QC module may be worth the investment. I have used that module for years and find it to be the workhorse in a manufacturing process control environment.
