Johnny99 in thread672-235140 had a good point about what motivates people.

In many cases, it's not free t-shirts, piles of money, or company picnics. Rather, it's the chance to work with other talented people doing interesting work.

I don't know how you people think but i don't think any kind of "bribe" or other discount priviledges can compensate with the fact that I will be working with someone who:
1. Is in the TOP-5 of his category
2. Is seeking personnel that can be trusted
3. Is open minded and can exchange ideas with me
4. wants to move towards a common goal that has been his and my dream for a long time.

Most employers see their employees as expendable components.

No, the employers have no intension of seeing them as they do but it's in the employees mind who thinks himself as such.

I've been a member of a construction company for 2 years and i can tell you that i've motivated my own boss in updating our offices, buying new computers and other hardware at the first year when other employees (at the same department and in a higher level) coudn't even pursuade him in buying a screwdriver. If i wasn't as enthusiastic as i was, coming with new ideas about making the company more productive and efficient this would never been possible.

Anyway, the funny thing is that i've also motivated my colleages in this joinned effort because as suprizing as it might sound, a member of the staff can motivated the staff better than a member of the administration.
Random is what we can't see
Devine is what we can't understand
and If 1=2 then I'm the pope
